Entre temps, en plein vol, le 25 et Noël sont arrivés, probablement entre deux cris du petit maudit alors qu’on était en train de baver. Puis, enfin arrivés à Tokyo, nous avons du attendre notre troisième et dernier vol pour environ deux heures. Ce vol de sept heures fut plus calme, hormis le fait que l’homme devant Rujira avait sérieusement l’air d’avoir des vers. Non mais ce qu’il était fatiguant à gigoter de même...
Nous sommes arrivés à Bangkok vers 23:30 après ce qui nous a semblé être comme une semaine et avons pris ce qui a été mon premier véritable repas thaï (à l’aéroport) en deux ans et demi, en ne comptant pas la cuisine de Rujira bien sûr. Délicieux, mais très cher relativement à ce qu’on peut facilement trouver dans la ville...
Meanwhile, during our flight, the 25th and Christmas arrived, probably between two cries of the annoying baby while we were drooling. Then, finally in Tokyo, we had to wait for our third and final flight for about two hours. This 7-hour flight was calmer, except for the fact that the man sitting in front of Rujira seriously seemed to have worms in his butt. Boy, was he annoying or what…
We landed in Bangkok around 11:30 pm after what seemed like a week and we had what was my first real Thai meal (at the airport) in two years and a half, not including Rujira’s cooking of course. It was delicious, but very expensive compared to what we can easily find in town…
